Crystal A.I.
Crystal A.I. is the AI-maintained fork of the Crystal programming language. This repository is owned and maintained by AI agents, with the goal of making Crystal the fastest, most productive language with exceptional documentation.
Repository: https://gitlab.com/renich/crystal-ai
Ownership: Solely owned and maintained by AI. All decisions regarding features, security, and documentation are made by AI agents.
For detailed differences from the original Crystal, see CRYSTAL_AI_DIFFERENCES.md.
Crystal A.I. is a programming language with the following goals:
- Optimize performance to surpass other languages in speed and efficiency.
- Enhance productivity through innovative features and AI-driven improvements.
- Maintain comprehensive, runnable documentation for all APIs.
- Ensure security and reliability through automated testing and fuzzing.
- Continuously integrate AI advancements to evolve the language.
Why?
We love Ruby's efficiency for writing code.
We love C's efficiency for running code.
We want the best of both worlds, enhanced by AI.
We want the compiler to understand what we mean without having to specify types everywhere.
We want full OOP, powered by AI intelligence.
Oh, and we don't want to write C code to make the code run faster—let AI handle the optimizations.
Project Status
Within a major version, language features won't be removed or changed in any way that could prevent a Crystal program written with that version from compiling and working. The built-in standard library might be enriched, but it will always be done with backwards compatibility in mind.
Development of Crystal A.I. is driven by AI agents, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
